ICYM Kulur Hosts Engaging MC Training SessionThe ICYM unit of St Antony Church, Kulur, successfully organized an enriching training session on Master of Ceremonies (MC) skills on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 30 attendees benefiting from the program.
The training was led by renowned comperes Mrs. Irene Rebello and Mr. Anil D’Cunha, who are well known for their expertise in stage anchoring and communication. They offered practical insights into the art of compering, focusing on voice modulation, stage presence, audience engagement, and confidence-building techniques.
Participants were also given hands-on opportunities to prepare and present mock compering segments for various occasions, making the session highly interactive and practical. The training proved to be both informative and empowering, equipping participants with essential public-speaking skills.
The Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Victor Vijay Lobo, addressed the gathering and encouraged the participants to make the best use of such opportunities. Other dignitaries present included PPC Vice President Mr. Vinay Rajath Dsouza, PPC Secretary Mrs. Laveena Ferrao, and Parish Pastoral Commissions Coordinator Mr. Jeevan Pereira.
The program was compered by Avisha Dsouza, while Arwin Monteiro welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource persons.Overall, the session was a meaningful initiative that inspired confidence and creativity among the youth.
