Mangaluru, Sept. 23: St. Antony Church, Kulur, witnessed a solemn moment on Monday evening as the parish community received the Karnataka Regional Youth Convention (KRYC) Cross with deep reverence and prayer. The Cross was handed over to the parish at the church entrance by members of the ICYM Neermarga Unit on September 22.
The reception was marked by a special adoration and prayer service led by Rev. Dr. Ozmond Roshan Dsouza, Director of ICYM Episcopal Deanery. The service offered the faithful an opportunity for reflection and devotion, filling the church with prayerful silence and collective participation.
Fr. Lawrence Cutinha, City Deanery Director, joined the parishioners and youth, adding significance to the occasion. Members of the ICYM Neermarga Unit, along with office-bearers of the City Deanery, actively participated in the event, contributing to the spirit of unity and devotion.
On Tuesday, September 23, at 4 p.m., the Cross was ceremoniously handed over to Urwa Parish, continuing its spiritual journey across the deanery.
The two-day observance at Kulur highlighted the strong faith and vibrant participation of the parish community, reflecting unity, devotion, and the shared spiritual heritage of the youth movement.
