Kuloor, April 18, 2025 — After the evening Good Friday liturgy, St Antony Church, Kulur, observed the Veneration of the Body of Jesus followed by a Solemn Procession, marking one of the most sacred traditions of the parish.The ceremony was prayerfully led by Fr Ajith Menezes, Administrator of Fr Muller Medical College, along with Parish Priest Fr Victor Vijay Lobo and Fr Arun J Mendonca, Headmaster of Kulur High School. A large number of faithful took part in the devotion, reflecting on the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ.Following the veneration inside the church, the symbolic Body of Jesus was carried in procession through the public roads, with the faithful walking in silence and singing traditional hymns of the Veneration of the Cross. The solemn atmosphere and reverent participation of the community made it a spiritually enriching experience for all.This annual Good Friday tradition remains a powerful expression of the parish’s faith, drawing the community together in prayerful remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice.
